Obtained from originators. (Hambly et al, 1997)
Almost normal karyotype with only changes trisomy 7 and iso13, like a typical microsatellite-unstable colorectal line. One X, suggesting male origin. Given that the other lines in this series, MT-1, MC4000 and MaTu are HeLa contaminants, the authenticity of this line was always in doubt.
