Amgen Scholars Programme
The Amgen Scholars Programme will be running once again in 2010. In the first year of the programme in 2009, 25 Amgen Scholars, from 15 different home universities across nine European countries were welcomed.
Amgen Scholars at the University of Cambridge will have the opportunity to work as vacation students alongside experienced faculty members, including some of the world's top academic scientists. They will gain hands-on laboratory experience, and actively contribute to the advancement of science. Applications from undergraduates across Europe are invited.
2010 Programme dates: 11th July - 5th September, followed by the Amgen Scholars European Symposium 6th-8th September

Applicants to the Amgen Scholars Programme in Cambridge must be undergraduate students who:
- who are enrolled in colleges or universities in Europe, and
- who have not completed their bachelor's or first degree (or its equivalent) prior to participating in the programme.
The deadline for the applications is Monday 15th February 2010 at 12 noon GMT via the online application form.
